QA Automation Engineer · AI-Assisted Testing

About the role

Octopus is a modular platform where a reservation touches purchasing, operations and accounting in one flow. Quality here means guarding whole workflows, not single screens. You'll own test automation across the web modules and use AI-assisted tooling to generate, maintain and triage tests at a scale a manual approach can't reach.

What you'll do

• Own E2E, API and regression automation across the platform's web modules
• Use AI-assisted tooling to generate, maintain and triage tests at scale
• Build and keep the quality gates in CI/CD honest
• Turn recurring production issues into permanent automated coverage
• Partner with engineers on testability, not just bug reports

What we're looking for

• 2+ years in test automation (Playwright, Cypress or Selenium)
• Solid API testing and CI/CD pipeline experience
• Genuine curiosity about AI-assisted testing tools: you've tried them, not just read about them
• You can read the code you're testing
• Working proficiency in English

Nice to have

• Performance / load testing experience
• Testing cloud SaaS platforms
• ISTQB or equivalent certification
